Tanner and I finally got our family pictures taken just in time for the parent stage to kick in. We hope to look back 50 years from now and say look how cute we are :) Our friend, Cara, took the pictures and she did an amazing job. We just arent that hot in person, but looking at the pictures its hard to believe we are not. She is very talented. Thanks for all the work you put into the pictures Cara!

Spring 2009 - Thanksgiving Point

This was the best date ever! We had huge thunderstorms rolling in and it was just black outside. But we decided to go to the gardens anyways. And as we drove there, we left the black clouds and got the the just covered skies and beautiful flowers! It was so nice to just walk around and have the place almost to ourselves because everyone was scared of the weather. We ran around laughing, taking pictures, and doing cartwheels. By the time we left, it started to rain so we had to run to the car, and then it just rained cats and dogs the rest of the day! It was so fun!!!

tanner told me that if I was going to be a flower, i would be a white flower with fire-y tips. Isnt that cute? It made me laugh. So here I am with my flower!

Needless to say, Tanner and I are still happy and in-love.

i figured with the wonderful life Ive had, I might post a few pics about it. I decided to pull out my woman abilities and started to create an set of volumes to refelct my life. i got through 15 years in one book, and high school too quite a lot of space, but my time in switzerland has already taken an album and I have currently printing another 600 pics. wow, I know. but you should have seen tanner's face when he told me he could get that down to 600 (from over 1500). so i decided if he could do it, then heck so could I. so with looking at pics i never knew I had of memories I never knew I made, I thought it would be nice to blog it for those that never knew I lived it up. Still nothin beats a day in the AZ superstition mtns..

Tired of being TIRED

Ever had those days where you are ready to go to bed and its not even seven oclock yet? yeah thats me to night. All I could do is cuddle with tanner and skip work definitely the life worth livin. of course that isnt the case because okla and fla are playing tonight so I get to watch tanner watch the game. and ive now resorted to writing a blog about it. now that he read this we are cuddling. Christmas was awesome and we had such a great month of learning, serving, and sleeping. awesome! you know you are enjoying christmas when your car gets snowed into a snowman and you are totally fine watching it disappear with no thoughts of your lack of ability to drive. quite nice. except til the day comes to go driving and the city decides to not put my tax dollars to work,and Im stuck driving in snow higher than my bummer. my poor car. its a chugger.

Family Date Night

So Chris and Gary were taking a vaca in south america so we decided that us remaining would do a fun date. Needless to say Tanner and i were together and everyone else got dates. It was so much fun, blind golfing leads a lot of room for flirting becuase you have to help/guide your partner as they golf your ball in. So everyone was loving that, and yes of course Tanner and I got lots of holes in one, and Corey even got a hole in one an the course next to us- pretty fun it flew into the hole instead of bouncing. Then we did archade games and won vampire teeth. pretty awesome. We played "deal or no deal" - Tanner was howe, and we won enought tickets that i was able to buy toys for all my co-workers. enjoy the pics!

Annual Pumpkin Smash

Every Halloween season that Tanner and I have been married, we have carved pumpkins like no ones business. our first halloween we had over 15 pumpkins big and small carved and not sitting on our front apartment porch- starting the day you can buy them at smiths to the day through as long as they can last- and with our snow they can least easily for weeks and months.

so every year we throw the pumpkin party and invite our coolest friends. in the past they have brought random dates, flavors of the week, or their own spouses. AND THEY LOST EVERY YEAR! it was awesome. Tanner and I were the master above and beyond, but this year everyone got a little wiser and being all married now, I had to brag to their "new half"s in advance that they should prepare for losing. so everyone came decked out with their cutco knives, pumpkin shovels and designs. (except for Jonah, who still got last prize)

It was an awesome night with a snow storm coming in and the guts everywhere. so enjoy the pics! ps. we still won. except for Mike's version of Homer Simpsons was the coolest winner this year. everyone got prizes.

Lacey is married to Mike on the left. and we swear that if lacie and I hadnt married the two men, they would have been life long roommates. Whenever we get together with them, they get all giddy and go do their guy thing. They barely notice their wives :) Its pretty cute.

These are the people that Tanner and I hangout with pretty much all the time. Now that we are all married, we are constantly getting together and partying. Tanner and I have to give excuses just to try and get alone time on our open nights. Its awesome. Tonight is the football game and then we are all playing Rock Band all night!

One of Our Last Summer Evenings

so yeah we look like we are out of some kind of GAP ad here or something. but I like this picture. We played soccer and watched the sunset with our friends. its pretty cool having married friends now because its like freshman year all over again, but with more girls- who are actually cool girls. We ran around til we were dizzy and sweaty then went and watched movies. It really is like freshman year now though. for example, Tanner and I spent the night at mike and laceys for one weekend. we partied ALL day and then partied all night playing pinnochle, watching movies, and eating midnight pizza. totally freshman year. Except for the fact that boys are allowed in my room and even my bed past midnight. yeah for being married!

This sunset was unbeleiveable. we even took lots of kissing pictures. that I might just have to post... We have so much fun together!!!

This picture is at Jo and Char's wedding. thanks again for the dress mom. At their wedding, Tanner and I went with mike and Lacey and during the MILLION of pictures we took, we would switch spouses in half of them or do something to mix it up. It was a long day. We also made them a wedding video that is the coolest thing ever. i must say Im pretty proud of it.

Bridal Veil Falls

Tanner and i walked up to the Falls this sunday. in our Pjs, no makeup, no shower, and we were tired. but it was lots of fun. we accidently lost most of our pics of the mountains so i think we are going again this sunday :) It was a blast. We do this tradition every year. Last year we got in a leave pile and tanner lost his wedding ring. It took us half an hour to find it after my crying and tanner laughing. Fun memories. and YEAH Im blogging again. i have even cuter pics but someone needs the computer...

seriously, we are so cute! two years this monday!
this is Lover's Cove where I went snorkeling with michelle and jenna. We swam to both ends and saw millions of fish. It was so much fun and the wet suits really helped. Tanner went scub diving in a different cove.He got to wear all the cool looking gear and saw a fish that was 6 feet long! I got pics of that but cant load them yet...

so everyone seems to be posting their cute families in blogs, and why not jump on the train? this summer tanner and i have been living in salt lake city while tanner works for platinum and i work for alliance health. we have been so blessed this summer with lots of opportunities and love.

we still find time for family and friends. i get to see more of chris, sharri, devin, carter, and sweet candice during the week and we even ran a 5k together! tan and i started p90x and its been going great til we both came down with the flu this week, but week two starts soon enough!

sundays are spent at the gibbs- lots of food, family, and fun times. and occasional merk games. so, we will keep posts coming on the fun times. woohoo for marriage!
